No its not on fire! - This picture shows the key reason George chose to bring us his fantastic low mileage UK car. The Waxoyl 120-4 is specifically formulated to atomise in such a way that when introduced using our specialist lances, it will mist into every cavity and welded seam. This shot was taken 30 seconds after treatment and you can still see the Waxoyl misting out.
We are the sole UK user of this specialist product, it is a very different formulation to the underbody wax - in other words the difference is not simply the colour.

This is not a moonscape but a picture of what Waxoyl 120-4 does when you shine a UV light on it. When we finish a car we can check that it has misted where it needs to for maximum protection. Rather than leave this to chance, the Waxoyl 120-4 is UV impregnated which show up under our UV indicators.
Why does this matter? Simply because what you are really paying for when you have a car treated is protection where it really matters and generally these are in places where the sun never shines! This needs the right product, right application, professional training and not least the ability never to make mistakes with your vehicle in how well the protection has been applied.
If you are going to use your MX-5 all year then cavity treatment becomes an imperative. Anyone who thinks corrosion protection is about slapping some black wax on the underside is right to an extent, we do it ourselves but as any specialist will tell you the real protection against structural and cosmetic corrosion is cavity driven.

This is George's MX-5 again. It was wise to get it treated now as this is the sort of corrosion that waxoyl is superb at neutralising. Where (non structural) corrosion is worse than this we would have to remove it first so George brought this to us in the nick of time.
Even then it meant wheels off, high pressure blasting away of loose corrosion and removal of peeling old underseal.
To be fair it looks worse in this photo than it did on the ramp probably due to the flash photography but remember this is a very low mileage car that will have seen few salt laden winters. Once treated with cavity and hardwax the structural integrity of this MX-5 is assured and as importantly, specialist treatment means that the mechanical durability of these fantastic, fun cars is matched by its ability to withstand the worst the UK's weather can throw at them.

This is the same area after comprehensive treatment treatment with our Waxoyl Professional Hardwax, imported from Waxoyl AG in Switzerland and used only by Rustmaster in the UK.
It is robust and to a degree self repairing so shouldn't need much looking after.
That said we'll happily inspect a car we've treated at any time and make good any patches which may have been rubbed off - this is more important to 4 x 4 customers than MX-5 ones as you might imagine but its a bit more peace of mind of a job well done.
Finally and obviously, if you have a top value, top spec. imported Roadster / Eunos then treatment (especially cavity) is an imperative to keep it in the condition it was in when it arrived in the UK. Otherwise it will decay quickly - we have seen cars 8 years newer than George's in much worse condition.
